About This Session

This session will start with an exploration of the comfort level of consumers in Asia with food delivery and QSR ordering through technology. Using the latest research from GlobalData, moderator Tim Hill will consider how consumers in SE Asia differ from those in the rest of the world and the implications of the evolution of technology in the foodservice sector in the region.

The discussion will then move from the theory to the practice with insights from Benjamin Boh, Regional Vice President of Domino’s Pizza. Ben will draw from his nearly two decades of experience in the F&B, FMCG and consulting sectors as well as being President of the Restaurant Association of Singapore, to look at some local examples of the uses of technology in the foodservice and food delivery sector.

Delegates will receive both the latest research on technology uses in foodservice in SE Asia, as well as some real-world insights into how operators are coping with consumer demand and balancing investments and returns in this highly competitive sector.
