Since the rise of brands such as Gwenyth Paltrow’s Goop, which launched in 2008, celebrity-founded brands have exploded across beauty, wellness, F&B and luxury. Today, most famous names own or co-own consumer brands, turning what was once a side hustle of endorsements into full-fledged entrepreneurship. Backed by massive platforms and loyal fan bases, these ventures aren’t just profitable, they’re shaping trends and driving conversations around health, sustainability and social impact.
Although the beauty and fashion industries have traditionally been most welcoming to celebrity-owned brands, the shared experience of a global pandemic has brought self-care to the fore, and the wellness industry has emerged as the go-to destination for celebrities.
We look at four profitable celebrity-owned wellness brands:

Once dubbed the “Princess of Pop”, Aussie megastar Kylie Minogue has more recently been making waves with a different kind of “pop” i.e. the kind that precedes a glass of refreshing prosecco rosé. In celebration of her 52nd birthday in 2020, she established Kylie Minogue Wines, selling out her signature rosé across the United Kingdom within 24 hours, and she has not looked back since.

It was in 2022 that Kylie Minogue Wines truly set foot in the wellness space with the launch of the 0% ABV sparkling rosé, acting as an advocate for the quickly growing no/low ABV category. Their efforts were rewarded earlier this year when their 0% ABV sparkling blanc claimed the People’s Choice Wine Awards for Mindful Drinking, shortly after Minogue’s naming in Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People Of 2024.

Once Upon A Farm
She may be a Golden Globe-winning actress, but Jennifer Garner is first and foremost a mother. These days, the mother of three is going by an all-new alias – Farmer Jen, of her farm-fresh organic baby food company Once Upon A Farm. Joining as co-owner in 2017 after encountering difficulties finding fresh organic food for her child, Garner’s century-old family farm is now the source for many of their products.

Once Upon A Farm is dedicated to providing fresh, organic baby and kids food in convenient and sustainable packaging.

Dedicated to being a positive influence on the planet, the company works closely with charity Save The Children, with their “A Million Meals” initiative being the latest campaign.

The latest additions to their range of products include Smart Wheels (L), Smoothie Melts (C) and the gut-friendly Belly Blend (R).
